What stays public, what gets shielded

Your USDT transfer on TRON is public, like every TRC20 transfer. A shielded Zcash receiver keeps your address and balance off the public chain. The route in between is your choice.

Private

A shielded receiver keeps your Zcash address and balance off the public chain. Your USDT deposit on TRON stays public, like every TRC20 transfer.

Secure

You send from your own wallet to a deposit address, with your own refund address. LeoDex never needs your seed phrase or private key.

Questions

How do I swap TRON USDT to shielded ZEC?

Enter your TRC20 USDT amount, set a compatible shielded Zcash Unified Address as the recipient, and review the destination-specific quote. The walletless flow asks for your receive and TRON refund addresses, then gives you deposit instructions. Send USDT on TRON and track the swap until your wallet confirms receipt.

Can I swap a large USDT balance to ZEC?

Enter your intended amount to check live route availability and net ZEC output. Liquidity, provider limits and price impact change with size and market conditions, so a small quote does not establish capacity for a larger swap. If you choose several swaps, compare each quote separately.

Which Zcash address should I use for shielded receipt?

Use a Unified Address with a shielded receiver compatible with the available route, from a wallet that supports shielded receiving. Unified Addresses start with u1 and can contain different receiver types; the prefix alone does not prove compatibility. Transparent t1 or t3 addresses receive transparent ZEC.

Can I swap USDT to Zcash without KYC?

LeoDex does not require an account or identity documents for this crypto-to-crypto swap. The underlying route provider may apply address screening and its own eligibility rules. No KYC on LeoDex is not a promise that every provider will accept every transaction.

Do I need to connect TronLink or a Zcash wallet?

No. You provide the receiving Zcash address and your TRON refund address, then send the deposit from your own wallet. LeoDex never needs your seed phrase or private key.

What remains public when I swap TRC20 USDT to shielded Zcash?

The USDT deposit on TRON remains public, including its sending address, amount and timing. Shielded Zcash protects receiver and balance information from the public chain, but the swap service still needs the destination you provide. Routing systems, service logs and timing correlations are separate considerations.

Are Confidential Intents and shielded ZEC the same thing?

No. Shielded ZEC describes the Zcash receiving side. NEAR Confidential Intents changes the visibility of execution within the swap route. Neither makes your original USDT transfer on TRON private.

What fees apply, and do I need TRX?

Review the live quote for exchange and route costs and the ZEC expected at the destination. Sending TRC20 USDT also uses TRON resources; your wallet may need TRX if it lacks Energy or Bandwidth. That sending cost can be separate. USDT to ZEC does not qualify for the stablecoin-to-stablecoin fee discount.

How long does it take, and what if a quote expires?

Use the delivery estimate and deadline on your route. If a quote or deposit window expires, refresh it and follow the new instructions; do not reuse an old deposit address. For a pending deposit, keep its details and contact support.

Is USDT on TRON the same as TRX or Ethereum USDT?

No. TRX is TRON's native coin; USDT on TRON is a TRC20 token, and Ethereum USDT is on a different network. This page starts with the TRON USDT contract shown above. Sending another asset or network can cause loss of funds.
